My vision

I spent the beginning of my career working in the manufacturing industry with most of my time split between shipping and CNC machining. I came across a Python course taught by Dr. Angela Yu and everything changed. I have earned certificates in everything from Web Development and Mobile Development to AI (basic, NLP, CV, etc.), Blockchain, Ethical Hacking and Cybersecurity, and more.

I have worked for two of Inc 5000’s Fastest Growing Companies, including my current position as a Full Stack Developer at Fire Rover, where I am involved in web development, mobile development, third party system integration via API (HubSpot, NetSuite, and more). The company is known for developing, manufacturing and installing innovative fire safety solutions that alert our monitoring stations, where we are able to notify first responders and remotely eliminate the threat (often before they arrive).

Hobbies

My dad took my brother and I to live sporting events a lot growing up, and we were fortunate enough to be in attendance at all-star games, the Detroit Pistons 2004 championship run, and countless other memorable experiences. When we weren’t in attendance, we would watch games live on TV, which is a tradition that I now share with my son.

I have a passion for finance and enjoy learning new techniques, which currently center around technical & quantitative analysis, as well as automated, algorithmic trading.

Within tech, I am working on advancing my skills in AI, Robotic Process Automation (RPAs and Workflows), Quantum Computing, and more.

What Else You Should Know

I’m a father to a boy, who loves sports, movies, and playing videogames with me. I enjoy doing science projects with him and we are learning about robotics and engineering together.

I also have a daughter who is involved in the Girl Scouts of America and is trying different hobbies so that she can find what she enjoys. One thing we all share is a passion for skateboarding (watching and riding).
